Round-up giving for retail shops.

The boutique, the bookstore, the corner store: every basket can carry a little change for the cause your town loves.

How it works

Three steps, then it runs itself.

01

Connect your point of sale

Link your point of sale in a couple of clicks. No new hardware, and nothing changes about how you ring people up.

02

Pick how you give

Round up your sales to the next dollar, or offer a $1, $5, or $10 donation at the counter or in the cart.

03

Watch support add up

Your dashboard totals every donation. Once a month you get one statement and pay your charity directly.

Why it fits your counter

In person or online. On the pledge, every sale rounds to the next dollar and you donate the change. On the ask, the $1, $5, or $10 donation is offered at the counter or in the cart where your platform supports it, and it shows on the receipt.

Retail is seasonal, and the pledge moves with it. The round-up rides your actual sales, so a big Saturday gives more and a slow Tuesday gives less, with nothing to manage either way. December raises more than February, exactly as it should.

If you sell online too, the same pledge counts those orders right alongside the counter, and the checkout ask is reaching online carts platform by platform. Either way your dashboard shows one total: what your shop has raised, everywhere it sells.

Common questions

We sell online too. Does it work there?

Yes. The round-up pledge works on online sales today, and the checkout ask is rolling out platform by platform.

Can we pick a local charity?

That is the point. You choose the nonprofit, and if yours is not on the platform yet, invite them - their account is free.

What shows on the receipt?

On the pledge, nothing changes. On the ask, the donation prints as its own line, named for the cause, so the customer sees exactly where their dollar went.
